The  Art and Design Foundation Course at Knowsley Community College is 25 yrs old. Students that have completed the course often tell us that it was the most enjoyable year they have ever spent in education.
It is a time when you can have a go at a wide variety of techniques and methods widely used in the field of Art and Design. Students typically are given instruction in Textiles,3D Design,Photography,Printmaking, Digital Imaging and much more.
We teach you how to develop your own drawing style and ways of working and help you identify your strengths so that you can apply to Art School or University in confidence.
